Leicesters last 3 games -
Man Utd Chelsea Spurs
Good for us as long as we keep picking up points.

7 Games to go. 2 tough games (Chelsea, Everton) 5 Cup Finals (Newcastle, Burnley, West Brom, Brighton and Southampton)
Seeing as we are normally the ones that need to win to say up. I would say anything can happen. I'm taking it 1 game at a time. Newcastle next who are 4th from bottom and desperate for points. Lose and we can only drop as low as 6th. which sets us up for a 6 pointer with Chelsea

said for months now that the only way we're sneaking in is if we leapfrog leicester.
even if the football allows us to both be in the top four, the powers that be wouldn't, and the more vulnerable of the two of us will get gunned down by dubious decisions like in slav's first season.

If Man City beat Spurs in the EFL Final, then 6th goes into Europa League. If a top 4 team wins the FA Cup then it goes down to seventh. Obviously, every point West Ham pick up is a great.

Wrong. Every game we’ve got is a tough game. You do those other clubs an injustice and sound like an arrogant Spurs fan! We need to fight in each game as if it’s a cup final. Great them all with the same level of respect or it’ll come back and bite us in the arse.

Re: Champions League here we come

Clearly misunderstood my post. the 5 cup final games can go either way.
I thought me saying I'm taking it one game at a time. and if we LOSE against Newcastle we can only drop to 6th is not discrediting any team.
Like I said it is normally us having to play the last 10 games as a Cup Final to avoid relegation (we have been in that position far to many times for anyone to say we should beat X team)
I'm also aware that Newcastle out played us and won 2-0 the last time we played them.
I'm hoping that Southampton are safe and West Brom are already relegated by the time we play them, which may give us a bit of an advantage over them if they have nothing to play for

The fourth placed Premier League team will miss out on a spot in the Champions League if English teams outside the top four win both the Champions League and Europa League.
We'll just have to finish 3rd to make sure. Probably avoids the qualifying round too.

I dont believe we will get points against all the lower teams. Several will be battling and our paper thin squad is now exposed. Europa league would be a decent season. It would be good to stop Chelsea or Liverpool getting CL spot but when you look at the stats and how teams seem to dominate us for half a match we arent ready for it.

Europa would be excellent, but unless we have a squad to cope what's the point?. Will require some significant investment and good luck on the injury front next year.
